Samsung Electronics expanded its AI ecosystem beyond foldable smartphones at the just concluded Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in London. The products unveiled at the event lay a foundation for a broader agentic AI ecosystem where smartphones and wearables combine to anticipate user needs.

The South Korean company positioned its foldable smartphones as its main productivity devices and strong contenders to Apple’s upcoming iPhone Ultra. The company also unveiled several wearable devices, including the anticipated smart glasses. Here are all the devices announced at the Unpacked 2026 event:

1. Three New Foldable Smartphones

Samsung showcased three new foldables at the just concluded Galaxy Unpacked event , which are:

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra

Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is Samsung’s premier foldable smartphone designed for users who want to bring the smartphone, content creation, and workspace experience into a single product. The new device features a 200MP camera to capture high quality images. Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is the slimmest foldable in the Galaxy Z Fold series.

When folded, the device measures 4.1mm and weighs 215g. Fold8 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor and comes with a 5,000mAh battery. It also features a 45W wired charging system and a larger graphite cooling structure for managing heat during heavy workloads.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8

This foldable features a wide, passport-style design that supports natural movement between video, social media, gaming, and reading. The device comes with a 7.6-inch main screen when open, which makes it ideal for games, videos, ebooks, and long-form content. Weighing 201g, Fold8 is the lightest Fold model. When unfolded, the device measures 4.5 mm.

It uses the Flex Titanium display structure which supports thinner designs, reduces crease, and enhances durability. Like Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor. However, it has a smaller 4,800mAh battery.

Galaxy Z Flip8

Samsung updated this foldable smartphone with a slimmer design and AI interactions. Weighing 180g and measuring 6.1mm when opened, Galaxy Z Flip8 is the lightest and slimmest Flip phone in Samsung’s foldable portfolio. The smartphone features a redesigned FlexWindow AI-powered interface that displays personalized information, apps, and suggested actions before users open the phone.

Flip8 comes with a 50MP camera whose unique features include hands-free shooting and auto-stabilization. Users can activate voice commands or Gemini using the side key to complete tasks in connected apps. Samsung’s Brief feature also displays information depending on the user’s routine.

2. AI-Powered Wearable Devices

Samsung showcased three AI-powered wearables at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, these are:

Samsung Galaxy Watch 9

This smartwatch comes with AI-powered health, fitness, and sleep tracking features. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, Galaxy Watch 9 features an aluminium casing. The smartwatch comes with a 3,000 nits display screen and is available in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm. With Watch 9, users can access a range of health features including an upgraded sleep apnoea monitoring tool, Vitals and Heart Health Score.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2

Samsung also unveiled Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, its most advanced smartwatch yet, at the 2026 Galaxy Unpacked event. The smartwatch is designed for athletes and outdoor enthusiasts who pursue high performance and require AI-powered health and fitness tracking. Featuring a titanium case, the smartwatch comes with an 800mAh battery and a display whose brightness can reach 5,000 nits. Users can use Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 to track trail runs, receive nutrition alerts, and measure water temperature or depth.

Samsung Galaxy Smart Glasses

Samsung unveiled its first smart glasses at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event. The tech company partnered with Google and eyewear brands Warby Parker and Gentler Monster to develop the Samsung Galaxy smart glasses. Gentle Monster smart glasses were built on the Android XR platform. They rely on Gemini for hands-free AI assistance depending on what the user views and hears.

The smart glasses also feature a built -in camera for capturing visual context and are powered by the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 platform. They can read aloud, summarize texts, support navigation, capture notes, and offer live translation. According to Samsung, the glasses can operate for a maximum of 9 hours without recharging. The company showcased two versions of smart glasses, the Warby Parker Model and the Gentle Monster Model.

3. Software and AI Upgrades in Galaxy Foldables

Samsung’s Galaxy foldable smartphones and wearables arrive with heavy AI integration. They run on One UI 9 software and Android 17. With Google’s Gemini Intelligent, users can complete tasks across 40+ supported apps and services. Users can prompt the AI model with text, images, or onscreen contexts to complete tasks such as locating restaurants, making bookings, or finding tickets.

The devices also feature Gemini Notebook, which places notes, recordings, images, files, and documents in a single workspace. Samsung’s Fold smartphone models allow users to drag files into Notebook and convert information into visuals, reports, and audio summaries.

Samsung’s One UI 9 introduces an AI assistant activity dashboard where users can review tasks completed by AI agents. A privacy alerts feature informs users when apps try to access background permissions. Samsung introduced Smart Switch, allowing iPhone users to switch to a Galaxy device by scanning a QR code to transfer supported data. The company has also made Quick Share compatible with Apple's AirDrop to support file sharing.
